Toilet repairs & replacements

Toilet repairs & replacements

Running cisterns, weak flushes and leaks repaired with quality parts — and full replacements installed where the toilet is beyond repair.

How it works

What happens when you book us.

Toilets fail in a handful of ways: fill valves that don't shut off, flush seals that let water trickle into the pan, worn syphons and tired flush mechanisms. Most are quick repairs with the right parts — worth doing promptly if you're on a water meter, since a running toilet wastes a surprising amount. Where a toilet is cracked or obsolete, we supply or fit any replacement you choose.

  1. Identify the fault

Running water, a weak flush or leaks at the base — each points to a specific cause.

  2. Repair with quality parts

Fill valves, flush valves and seals from manufacturers that last, fitted and adjusted correctly.

  3. Replace if needed

New pans and cisterns installed, sealed properly, with the old unit disposed of.

  4. Test

Multiple flushes, refill checked, no movement and no leaks before we finish.

Common questions

Asked about toilet repairs & replacements.

Why does my toilet keep running?

Almost always a worn fill valve or flush seal. Both are inexpensive parts we carry as standard.

Do you clear blocked toilets?

No — blockages aren't a service we offer, and a blocked toilet is best handled by a drainage specialist. Repairs are our side: if it runs, leaks, rocks or won't flush properly, that's us.

The toilet rocks slightly — is that a problem?

Yes. Movement eventually breaks the pan-to-soil-pipe seal, which causes a leak you don't want. Re-fixing is quick and inexpensive if done early.
