When you call, text or email us — or use the enquiry form on this site — we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, contact details, postcode and a description of the job. We use this information to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide a quote;
- arrange appointments and carry out the work you ask for;
- keep the basic records (such as invoices) that we are legally required to keep.
The enquiry form on this website prepares an email in your own email app — nothing is stored on the website or sent to us until you choose to send that email.
Our legal bases
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we rely on: contract — to prepare quotes and carry out work you request; legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and run the business; and legal obligation — to keep tax and accounting records.
Sharing and retention
We never sell your information. We share it only where genuinely needed — for example with our accountant for bookkeeping, or where the law requires it. Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry; job and invoice records are kept for the periods required by HMRC.
