Boiler servicing
Boiler servicing
A full annual service to the manufacturer's checklist — combustion analysed, components inspected and everything recorded — by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
How it works
What happens when you book us.
An annual service keeps a boiler safe, efficient and under warranty — almost every manufacturer requires one each year by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Ours follows the manufacturer's checklist in full: combustion checked with a flue gas analyser, components inspected and cleaned, and the results recorded in writing.
Visual and safety checks
Flue, ventilation, gas pipework and casing checked, with a gas tightness test where required.
Combustion analysis
A flue gas analyser confirms the boiler is burning safely and efficiently — measured, not assumed.
Internal inspection and clean
Seals, electrodes, condensate trap and heat exchanger inspected and cleaned as the manufacturer specifies.
System checks and record
System pressure, expansion vessel and controls checked, with everything logged — the record your warranty relies on.
Common questions
Asked about boiler servicing.
How often does my boiler need servicing?
Annually. Most manufacturer warranties require a yearly service by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and a missed year can void the cover.
When is the best time to book?
Late spring to early autumn. You avoid the winter rush, and anything the service picks up can be fixed before the heating season.
Can you do the boiler service and landlord certificate together?
Yes — combining both in one visit costs less than two separate appointments.
