Plumbing repairs
Leaks, weeping joints and failing fittings — traced to the actual cause, repaired with quality parts and tested under pressure.
How it works
What happens when you book us.
Small plumbing faults rarely stay small. A slow weep inside a cupboard becomes a damaged floor; a dripping overflow becomes a stained wall. We trace faults to their actual cause — which is often not where the water shows — repair with proper parts, and test everything under pressure before we leave.
Limit the damage
For active leaks, we'll talk you through isolating the water over the phone before we arrive, at no charge.
Trace the cause
Water travels along pipes and joists before it appears. We find the actual failure point rather than replacing parts on guesswork.
Repair properly
Quality parts, joints remade correctly, and full-bore isolation valves added where sensible so future work is easier.
Test under pressure
Everything is run and rechecked before we tidy up, and we'll show you what was wrong and what we did.
Common questions
Asked about plumbing repairs.
Water is coming through my ceiling — what should I do right now?
Turn the water off at the stop tap, open the cold taps to drain the pipes, and if water is near light fittings, switch that circuit off at the consumer unit. Then call us — a photo helps us bring the right parts.
Why does my toilet keep running?
Usually a worn fill valve or flush seal. Both are inexpensive parts and a quick fix — worthwhile promptly if you're on a water meter.
Do you handle blockages?
Sink and bath wastes, yes. Blocked toilets and main drains are drainage-specialist territory rather than our work — we'll tell you honestly which you need instead of charging you to find out.
